A Week At A Glance...

Reading -This week we are reading the story, Talking Walls: Art For The People. This story tells about public murals in America and the messages that are communicated through them. We are learning about each artist and the work he or she created. Many of the murals are meant to encourage and inspire the people who look at the art, especially children. Our question for the week goes right along with our story- "How important is freedom of expression?
Comprehension- We will be reviewing "Fact and Opinion," and looking at Graphic Sources.
Language- Combining Sentences
Writing - Formula poetry
Math - We will be learning about probability and its vocabulary: outcome, impossible, likely, unlikely, certain
