A Smorgasboard Of Learning and Fun!

I look forward to seeing you all this week for Parent/Teacher Conferences this week.  Appointment slips were sent home last Friday, and  I will be sending home a reminder Tuesday night.  This is a great time to sit together to celebrate successes and share new goals that students will be focusing on.  We have been working hard learning new topics centered around living and nonliving things, addition and subtraction with regrouping, language comprehension strategies, and how to find solutions and solve problems.  Our cursive is getting better and will continue as the year progresses and our fluency and understanding of text is also getting quicker and more meaningful everyday.  I am posting a few pictures to share with you in our learning:
